How to play

Click or drag a piece to move it (tap on phones). PLAY RANKED matches you with a player near your rating, or a ranked BOT if nobody's online. Win to raise your rating and climb the tiers. Play a Friend: share a 5-letter room code. Bot Tower: beat 15 robot bosses for stars and unlocks. Puzzle Rush: solve as many tactics as you can in 3 minutes. New to chess? Start in the Academy. Hints and takebacks work in tower and practice games.
